Square Law Diode Modulator - Circuit Diagram and its V-I Characteristics: Basic circuit of a square law diode modulator is shown in Fig. 22.30. It utilizes the nonlinear region of…
Classification of Communication: There are two basic classification of communication systems, baseband systems and passband systems. In baseband systems, the signal is transmitted without modifying the frequency content. A simple…
Fet Tuned Amplifier - Circuit Diagram and Frequency Response: Figure 18.11(a) depicts the circuit of an FET tuned amplifier. It uses a first-order JFET model for the 2N 5484 [IDSS…
Class D Power Amplifiers - Circuit Diagram, Operation and Applications: Historically, audio amplifiers have been configured as class A, class B or class AB and the art of design is…
Explain Distortion in Amplifier? | Types of Amplifier Distortion: Under ideal conditions, amplified output signal must have exactly the same waveform as the input signal. But in practical amplifiers, this…
Depletion Type MOSFET - Construction, Operation and Characteristics: As we know already that when the gate is biased negative w.r.t. the source in an N-channel JFET, the depletion-region widths are…
Applications of FETs (Field Effect Transistors): Applications of FETs - FET has a very high input impedance (100 MΩ in case of JFETs and 104 to 109 MΩ in case of…
What is Oscillator? - Types of Oscillators: An oscillator is the basic element of all ac signal sources and generates sinusoidal signals of known frequency and amplitude. It is one…
